What is mostly grass-fed beef?

Our cattle’s diet consists of approximately 99% grass. In addition to minerals our cattle are given periodic snacks because we all like a treat every once and a while. We use a little bit of grain to ensure they come when we call them. We also provide a free choice protein supplement when forage quality is lower.

Giving Back

Thorn Springs Farm is committed to giving back to our local community. We plan to donate 10% of our beef processed under USDA inspection to our local food bank/pantry.
